Awesome work Hollis
Well done Pieter
We’ve heard some great examples of how PFP workgroups have worked together across jurisdictions and disciplines to improve communication and coordination. Kudos to all who participate in the PFP! I am a state Co-Chair of the Surveillance, Response and Post-Response WG and one thing I struggle with is making sure we are reaching as many of our colleagues as possible for input on the various projects we are working on. If you are new to the PFP I encourage you to join a workgroup in an area you are interested in. In my group, we are working closely with the Lab WG to look at communication around whole genome sequencing, but we are working on other projects too. The PFP website is a good place to start www.pfp-ifss.org. Also, if you work with somebody who you know may interested in our work, we are always looking for more voices!
Roy - are you with us?
You are a classic Bob, thank you for your support
Thank you, Bonnie!
Just here to agree with everything Brian says above. You will get more than you expect when you give your time to the PFP.

I want to give a shout out to the Laboratory Science Workgroup for the "Human & Animal Food Regulatory Compliance Review Checklist that they released in July of 2020. This checklisy designed to assist a human and animal food organization in preparing a data package intended for review by a compliance officer for possible regulatory action. oops, I meant to add that we have used it in Virginia with our RRT team to submit lab data packages so that FDA is able to use and accept our lab results to take actions on the samples our state has collected.

Great input Brian!
Rance Baker, NEHA
industry and consumers can also help us keep our language approachable.
Excellent point, Rance. We need to see industry as a resource and partner. a bigger question for the PFP may be -- who do we mean when we think of engaging "industry"?
For the Lab and Surv projects around WGS I’ve been recruiting other state and federal partners during PulseNet and GenomeTRAKR calls and we have had some new voices from that recruitment.
Watch out, Brenda will recruit you into Outreach or another WG in a heartbeat if you give her the opportunity! :)
Once PFP always PFP!
We also have a technical readiness questionnaire.....for the data exchanges...https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DWCFH3XORA Data Exchange (DX) Program: System-to-System (NFSDX) Technical Readiness Questionnaire
Thank you Barbara! My pleasure. Great group effort pulling this webinar together for a successful overview and discussion.

Thank you for the heavy lift Tony!
One thing that may help may be having more details on the PFP website about what the groups are working on may also help with recruitment.
